Tata Docomo achieved quite a buzz when it launched the very attractive Rs. 250 Unlimited 3G + Talktime offer. The offer has been a huge success with even the network having issues in handling such high growth in the number of users. But seems like the time has come and we need to get back to the high 3G data costs.
A quick chat with Tata Docomo representative confirms that the plan is only applicable till 31st of March and will not be available anymore. There’s still around a month left, so suggesting everyone to get the last share of the free data pie and enjoy cheap costs of another month. The offer may be extended further, but their present information says that the deadline is 31st of March.
We already knew that this plan is not going to stay forever and was rather a publicity stunt played by Docomo. They were able to create a buzz with this and achieve what they wanted (more customers), attracting lots of new customers and growing up their subscriber base.
Recently, Docomo also revised the 2G tariffs increasing them by a good amount and that makes us to believe that we are not going to see any more cheap Data Plans coming from Docomo. When a GB of 2G data will cost upwards of Rs. 115, 3G data can’t be cheaper. So, expect at least a double of that 🙂

Available with changed terms. With 251, gives around 150tt + 1GB 3G.

Not anymore. The newer version does not give Full TT anymore and the data balance ain’t unlimited either.

Yes it is. But the changes are: In some regions it is hiked to 251 and in others it is at 253.
Besides that, there is no unlimited data now. The plan only provides 1GB 3G and 222 Rs. of talktime.
The 250 offer is now 253 and is ongoing with
1) TT of 222 and 1GB 3G data
2) Unltd 2G data after 1GB 3G data is used
3) 3G speed only up to 1GB, and 64 kbps speed after 1GB used
I still recharged with 250 and it worked. But there’s no more unlimited. Just 1 GB of 3G and that’s it. Will try 253 next time 😀

It exists.
Updated info is that it now gives you a talktime of ₹222 and 1GB of 3G data. That’s it. No full talktime, no unlimited data.

The plan was slightly modded. The talktime is now Rs. 222 and validity for talktime is lifelong.
GPRS validity is for a month only.

The offer still exists as on 19 july 2013, u ger 222 talk time and 2 Gb data for a month. Rs 222 is added to the main account. one of the best offers I ve ever seen. though the data connection is not fully consistant, the service overall is truly amazing
