Swiping from the top for notifications becomes an inconvenience, especially when you have a tall device like the Vivo X200 Pro.
Fortunately, the feature is still included in the device and is just one setting away. Even though the notifications panel does not feel like really swiping down from the top (as it just pops up), it still serves the purpose. Here’s how to enable notifications display when swiping down on the homescreen on Vivo and Iqoo smartphones.
Steps to Set Swipe down gesture to open the Notifications Panel (Vivo/Iqoo smartphones)

The steps below apply to Vivo and Iqoo smartphones running on FunTouch OS. I tested the feature on a Vivo X200 running on Android 15-based FunTouch OS 15.
- Tap and hold onto an empty area of the homescreen.
- Choose Home Settings.
- Tap on the Swipe down on the home screen.
- Change the value to “Notifications center“.
That’s it. The change is instantly applied, and you can enjoy easy access to your notifications through a simple swipe.
