Nokia G21 starts receiving the official Android 13 update

Nokia G21 receives Android 13 update

Nokia Mobile is busy updating its remaining phones to Android 13 OS. The affordable Nokia G21 is the latest device to receive the Android 13 update. The update is available in India and probably other countries across the globe. Users in India received the update with a download size of 2.09GB, with the build number being 3.430. The build number may differ for different regions based on local changes/requirements.

Android 13 on Nokia G21: Is it good and stable?

I’ve been monitoring the user response to the Android 13 update. So far, there are no negative reports.

Users have reported a stable experience along with bug fixes to the issues that originated in the device. As such, the broken WiFi and the broken WiFi Hotspot functionality have been fixed. The device’s stability has probably improved as well, but that is generally how a new update generally feels.

So, if you are wondering whether you should install the update or not, then it is a green signal 🟢. You can go ahead and press that install button. The update is unlikely to bring any serious issues. However, there may still be isolated cases where certain things don’t work well.

Android 13 is the last major OS upgrade for the Nokia G21. It was launched on Android 11 and has completed 2 years of assured OS updates by receiving Android 12 and Android 13. That said, the phone will continue to receive security and maintenance fixes on Android 13 until March 2025.

Did you receive the update? If you have received the Android 13 update on your Nokia G21, then do let us know of your experience post-installation. Also, let us know of your region.
