How to Activate Free Gameloft Games Bundle in Nokia Lumia 525

Nokia is bundling 10 Free Gameloft Games with Nokia Lumia 525, but I’m seeing many users facing issue in getting their free games games gift. The games given for free are all premium games which are all priced above ₹100, hence those who are not able to get them are really losing a good deal. Following are some of the tips you should follow to get your free games gift.

  1. Insert a SIM card of one of the supported carriers. Supported carriers are – Airtel, Vodafone, Aircel, Reliance and Idea. If you are using some other operator, setting up your phone using a WiFi connection is recommended.
  2. Wait for a day or two after inserting the supported SIM card for the offer to get activated. However it only takes a couple of minutes usually.
  3. Make sure you have logged into your Microsoft Account.
  4. Only 10 Gameloft titles are available for free. These are – Asphalt 7: Heat, Modern Combat 4, N.O.V.A. 3, Order &
Chaos, Shark Dash, Earthworm Jim, Assassin’s Creed: Altair’s Chronicles, Let’s Golf 2, Brain Challenge HD, Asphalt 8: Airborne. However some titles like Asphalt 8 are already made free by Gameloft for everyone.

When the free games offer is activated, the pricing information for these games is removed and they are shown with a Nokia logo on the page showing that it is a Nokia Exclusive offer. Here’s a screenshot of Free and Paid version of Asphalt 7. The difference is caused due to difference of SIM Cards.

P.S: For some reason the size of Asphalt 7 supplied for free is around the half of the official version. Maybe it includes some graphic cuts and is more optimized for low end devices like the 520.

The offer is not just limited to devices purchased from Nokia Priority Stores. If you find a better deal online, you can buy it there.
