Android 11 update for Nokia 4.2 is now available

Nokia Mobile which is run by HMD Global has started the Android 11 update rollout to another Nokia smartphone. The time is for Nokia 3.2’s elder sibling – Nokia 4.2 to experience the latest version of Android. Android 11 does not bring any groundbreaking new features. However, it improves upon the overall user experience.

The Android 11 update for Nokia 4.2 is 1.48 GB. It carries version number 3.150 or 00ww_3_150. Surprisingly, the update is available in most of the global regions except for the markets where operators have greater control.

Countries NOT covered in Wave 1: Android 11 is available to Nokia 4.2 in all markets except the ones listed next. The excluded countries are Armenia, Belarus, Bulgaria, Chile (Entel Chile, Movistar Chile, Claro Chile, WOM), Colombia (Claro Colombia, Movistar Colombia), Czech Republic (O2 CZ), Israel, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, Poland (Plus, Orange PL, PLAY), Romania (Orange RO), Russia, USA (T-Mobile) and Uzbekistan.

Your device will notify about the available update as soon it is available to your phone. It will take upto 4 devices for the entire user base to receive the OTA update notification. So, if you’re from a region not listed above, you should get your update by 12th of April.
